Advanced Data Privacy and Protection adapts to a wide variety of security and compliance needs and supports data security, data privacy, and logging and monitoring needs. ADPP includes:
  • Access logs. The access log provides a 90-day record of the data that team members accessed in your account.
  • Advanced data retention policies for tickets and end users. You can create custom retention policies to set what data you delete and what you keep.
  • Redaction suggestions. Automatically highlights certain types of personally identifiable information (PII) within a ticket. You can then click the highlighted PII and quickly redact it.
  • Automatic redaction. Leverages ticket triggers and redaction suggestions to remove sensitive data from ticket comments when specified conditions are met.
  • Advanced encryption. Enhances data security by allowing your company to encrypt Service Data using your own enterprise Key Management Service (KMS).
If you have an eligible online-assisted account, you can buy the Advanced Data Privacy and Protection add-on directly from the shopping cart. You must be the account owner or a billing admin to buy the add-on. If you have a self-service or managed account, contact your Zendesk account representative for purchasing instructions.

To buy the Advanced Data Privacy and Protection add-on

  1. In Admin Center, click Account in the sidebar, then select Billing > Subscription.

    A summary of your current plan appears.

  2. Click Manage.

    If you don't see a Manage button on the Subscription page, then you don't have permission to make changes. If there are additional products you can buy, you’ll see a New button next to the More products tab.

  3. Click More products.

    A list of products you can add to your account appears, including the Advanced Data Privacy and Protection add-on. This add-on is listed only if your account is eligible for Advanced Data Privacy and Protection.

  4. To buy the Advanced Data Privacy and Protection add-on, click Add to subscription.
  5. Click Update subscription to complete the purchase.

    After the purchase is complete, you’ll see the add-on listed on the Subscription page of your account.
